ANNA AUBRY is a queer actor, comedian, and writer based in Brooklyn.
She is a house team improviser on Upright Citizens Brigade’s Harold Night and Brooklyn Comedy Collective’s flagship showsWhat Makes [You] Laugh? and Home Teams. She co-hosts the two-prov show Are Jon and Anna Better as Friends? around NYC.
As an actor, Anna specializes in new work and has performed off-Broadway and downtown (see resume). Vulture Mag described her recent work in Twelve Minor Prophets (dir. Leo Egger) as “excellent.” She has been a member of the New Play Directing Fellowship Cohort at Clubbed Thumb and sold out the NYC run of her solo show Doom Tank at the Under St. Mark’s Theater.
Anna graduated from Oberlin College with a degree in Theater: Acting, receiving Highest Honors and The Nash Drama Award, and holds a certificate of study from The Moscow Art Theatre School.
What fuels Anna’s work is her love of human connection, her belief that laughter is the best thing ever, and the thrilling/messy/joyful energy that comes from creating truthful work with others.
